“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.”

The Harvest Collection
In this collection you will find a variety of pieces that represent the beauty of what harvesting is. When I think of the term “harvest”, I think about the importance it has to our lives nutrition wise, but also symbolically.
Harvesting is a crucial process that ensures we have access to fresh and nutritious food. Without harvesting, we would not be able to gather the fruits, vegetables, grains, and other crops that sustain our bodies and provide us with the energy and nutrients we need to thrive. Food is essential to our lives as it not only nourishes us physically, but also plays a significant role in our social cultural traditions. Sharing meals with loved ones, celebrating special occasions with food, and exploring different cuisines are all ways in which food enriches our lives and brings us together. Additionally, having a reliable food supply is essential for maintaining good health, supporting our immune systems, and promoting overall well-being. In essence, harvesting and the availability of food are fundamental to our survival and quality of life, and it gives us an excuse for gathering with our loved ones.
Robert Louis Stevenson’s quote, “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant” is one of my favorite quotes regarding the importance of harvest. It resonates with the principle of "what you sow, you reap", which highlights the importance of our actions and decisions in shaping our outcomes and experiences in life. Just as a farmer must carefully select and plant seeds to yield a bountiful harvest, we must be mindful of the intentions we set and the efforts we put forth in order to achieve our desired goals and aspirations. This principle serves as a reminder that our choices and behaviors have consequences, and that we have the power to create the future we desire through our actions in the present. By sowing seeds of kindness, hard work, perseverance, and positivity, we can reap the rewards of personal growth, success, and fulfillment. Conversely, negative actions and attitudes can lead to unwanted outcomes and setbacks. Embracing the principle of "what you sow, you reap" encourages us to take responsibility for our actions, cultivate a positive mindset, and strive for excellence in all that we do.
