Abe was my first pet portrait inspiration. He was my in law’s beloved dog who had passed away unexpectedly. It was a hard time for them and our family. I wanted my in law’s to remember Abe with a portrait that they can look at everyday and not forget. A portrait that truly resembles everything about Abe. His attentiveness, his eagerness, his loyalty, and his beautiful colors.

Since then, I have captured many portraits of other beloved pets that will always be remembered and treasured.
